Start free with 50,000 welcome Somas. Rapid Release is $10 USD/month with 1,000,000 Somas, High Volume Author is $19 USD/month with 2,000,000, and Signature Author is $29 USD/month with 5,000,000. Your account and Somas work on DarkRomanceWrite and Darkish AI. Existing subscribers keep their acquired price and benefits while their original subscription remains active.

No. Your free account gives you 50,000 welcome Somas to explore DarkRomanceWrite. When they run out, you decide whether you want a paid plan. Manual editing, version history and Word manuscript export remain included without spending Somas.

Somas are the studio's usage units. Different operations and writing voices can use different amounts. DarkRomanceWrite shows an estimate before a paid generation so you can decide before you spend.

Every plan includes the core DarkRomanceWrite journey: Story Bible, synopsis, outline, scene generation, scene-by-scene chapter generation, version history and Word export. Plans differ mainly by monthly Somas and writing-voice access.

Onyx is available on every paid plan. Quartz and Opaline are included with Signature Author.

Your projects, Story Bible, and drafts remain safely saved and fully accessible. After a free trial, you can choose a paid plan. On an active paid plan, new AI generations pause until your monthly Somas refresh or you add a one-time Soma Pack. Changes between paid plans take effect at the next renewal and do not add Somas mid-cycle. Monthly plan Somas reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Soma Packs can only be used while a paid subscription is active.

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally keeps paid access through the end of the billing period; it does not create an automatic or prorated refund. Request a refund for your first subscription purchase within seven days if its paid Somas are unused and your account has received no more than 25 successfully saved Darkish AI replies, including free and paid use. Deleting chats does not reset this account-wide count. An unused Soma Pack is eligible within seven days regardless of your Darkish reply count. Renewals are not eligible under this commercial policy. Use Request refund in Account Billing when available. A pending operation puts your request on hold for automatic re-evaluation; the request date determines the seven-day limit. Duplicate charges, unauthorized payments, technical delivery errors, and mandatory consumer rights are reviewed separately at billing@darkromancewrite.com.

Yes. Your manuscript, your rights and your royalties remain yours. DarkRomanceWrite does not claim ownership or copyright in your work, and never takes a share of your royalties. You keep creative control and the final word.
